About Davos

Davos is a town in the Swiss Alps, within the canton of Graubünden. It’s a popular winter sports resort with a conference center that hosts the annual World Economic Forum. Several ski areas, including Jakobshorn, Pischa, Rinerhorn and Parsenn, have downhill slopes and cross-country pistes. It’s also home to a large natural ice rink and the Vaillant Arena ice-hockey stadium. Davos has a continental subarctic climate with an average of 114.7 days of precipitation per year and on average receives 1,011 mm (40.1 in) of precipitation. Davos is home to seven sites that are listed as Swiss heritage sites of national significance.
