Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur in Florida at the JW Marriott Turnberry

The Resort

 

The luxurious JW Marriott Turnberry Resort and Spa continuously exceeds guest’s expectations. Centrally located between Miami and Fort Lauderdale (10 miles) International Airports, within the City of Aventura, the newly renovated resort features South Florida’s largest ballrooms, guest rooms and suites. The spacious guest rooms also feature a balcony overlooking the scenic 300 lush, tropical acres including two 18 hole PGA courses – rated top 100 by Golf Magazine.

 

The JW will be converted into a Glatt Kosher High Holiday Paradise. Every detail is taken into consideration to provide a memorable Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur, with beautiful services, scrumptious dining, inspiring lectures, incredible youth program and engaging activities for the entire family.

 

Visitors to JW can also enjoy family friendly recreation and the recently completed, multi-million dollar Tidal Cove water park, which is included in your High Holiday reservation. The long list of recreational amenities makes for a very luxurious and relaxing getaway.

 

Services: Main Minyan & Sephardic Minyan

Accompanied by the Chassidic Choir, Chazzan Meshullam Levinson will be the feature cantor for the Main Minyan, joined by the beautiful melodic voice of Rabbi Yerachmiel Andrusier.

Rabbi Amram Amselem will be leading the Sefardic Minyan.

Services are assured to be truly enjoyable and inspirational as Chazzan Meshullam Levinson will integrate traditional High Holiday melodies with many of the most popular contemporary Jewish tunes. Meshullam has a beautiful voice and it is a true pleasure to listen to him lead the prayers.

Inspiring Lectures

Highlighting this year’s program will be world renowned lecturers Rabbi YY Jacobson, Rabbi Mendel Duchman his wife Rochel, and Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz, Founder of Jews for Judaism.

He is considered to be one of the most successful, passionate and mesmerizing communicators of Judaism today, culling his ideas from the entire spectrum of Jewish thought and making them relevant to contemporary audiences.

 

Rabbi Mendel Duchman is always an entertaining and inspiring speaker. His public presentations are always filled with humor, clarity, meaning, and contagious passion. Mendel stimulates, empowers and energizes his audiences to care more, to do more, to achieve more.

 

Rabbi Bentzion Kravitz is the founder of Jews for Judaism. A renowned lecturer, Rabbi Kravitz has appeared on television, radio, and social media programs. His presentations are sensitive, enlightening, and entertaining.

 

Gourmet Dining

Executive Catering with an incredible team of master chefs, including Chef Gary Rubin of New York, will combine their incredible culinary wizardry with dynamic flavors to create the most sumptuous Rosh Hashana Kosher Menu. Three freshly prepared meals are served daily and an extravagant tea room is featured as well.

 

Fantastic Youth Program & Baby Sitting

Many young families return every year mainly due to the well-organized youth program headed by an energized team of counselors, while the youngest guests are cared for by skilled baby-sitters. 
 

While the children are under great care, parents can focus on their prayers and attend the many lectures being offered.

 

Yom Kippur

 

The beautiful JW Marriott Resort & Spa will also offer both a regular and a Sefardi Minyan for Yom Kippur. Guests can choose a late check out Thursday eve or stay till after Friday breakfast.
 

For Yom Kippur an elaborate gourmet pre fast dinner is offered as well as a lavish break-the-fast feast following the Neilah service for an additional fee.
