Kosher Holiday Resort (KHR) is pleased to announce it will be hosting Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur 2018 at the luxurious Eden Roc Miami Beach, one of South Florida's premier oceanfront resort and spas located in the heart of Miami Beach, Florida.
KHR is celebrating its 24th year of providing the most incredible, meaningful and enjoyable Rosh Hashana experience featuring renowned cantors, inspiring lectures, the most delicious cuisine and an amazing youth program.
Inspiring Lectures
Highlighting this year’s program will be world renowned singing sensation, Gad Elbaz. Joining him are acclaimed lecturers YY and Simon Jacobson, Mendel Duchman and Shaindy Jacobson.
Services: Main Minyan & Sephardic
Chazzan Yechezkel Klang will arrive from Israel to headline the regular Minyan alongside Chazzan Tzali Camissar. Gad Elbaz and Rabbi Amram Amselem will lead the Sephardic Minyan.
Rosh Hashana will conclude with a festive party and special performance by Gad and 8th Day’s Bentzi Marcus.
Gourmet Dining
Concierge Catering with an incredible team of master chefs, including Chef David Benrey, former Executive Chef at Harbour Grill and Chef Steve Mendez former Executive Chef for Norwegian Cruise Line, Doral Country Club & Sandals Resort will combine their incredible culinary wizardry with dynamic flavors to create the most sumptuous Rosh Hashana Kosher Menu. Both Chef Benrey and Chef Mendez are recognized as leading chefs in the Kosher culinary world.
Fantastic Youth Program & Baby Sitting
Many young families return every year mainly due to the well-organized youth program headed by Rabbi Aron Rabin and his energized team of counselors. The children are under great care thus allowing the parents to focus on their prayers and attend the lectures.
Pre Rosh Hashana Shabbat
Guests can arrive early and enjoy an inspirational Shabbat just prior to Rosh Hashana with Rabbis YY & Simon Jacobson, Mendel Duchman and a Melave Malka Kumzitz with Bentzi Marcus. Coming just for Shabbat is also an option.
Yom Kippur
The beautiful Eden Roc resort will offer both a regular and a Sefardi Minyan for Yom Kippur. Guests can choose a late check out Wednesday eve or stay till after Thursday breakfast.
For Yom Kippur an elaborate gourmet pre fast dinner is offered as well as a lavish break-the-fast feast following the Neilah and evening services for an additional fee.
