Pesach is a time of togetherness. At home though, sometimes it feels a little bit like too much togetherness.

Located only 2 hours from New York City in White Oak, PA, Mountain Laurel Resort and Spa, is a perfect getaway for the whole family. This isn’t just a hotel with a few rooms, and pre packaged kosher for Pesach meals. This is the full experience, a full hotel takeover for Pesach! The program is lead by an absolute master in Charles Rosenay of Club Kosher, who has over 20 years experience in running successful passover programs. He knows how to do this, and how to do it right.

Every meal is expertly catered by Besser Foods (under OK supervision), featuring top notch gourmet dishes. If you’re still hungry afterwards (who we kidding we’re going to be) there’s also a fully stocked tea room to fulfill all of your sweet tooth needs. All dairy meals are cholov yisroel, and meat meals are chassidishe shechita.

In between meals they have so much programming I would be surprised if you get to do everything before the end of your trip.

There are both indoor and outdoor pools with seperate swim hours for men and women. There’s also a hot tub for relaxing in. Picture it now. You just sitting back, and letting the warm water melt away all the stresses that you left back in the city.

If you’re feeling active there is a full gym to work off all of those delicious meals. If you prefer a class they will be having zumba and aerobics as well. Going outside you can engage in a little bit of horseback riding and archery (and fulfill those Game of Thrones fantasies) or play some volleyball if you get a few friends together. They also have full tennis courts for you to use and start breaking a sweat on! Inside they have a game room, always great for a little fun and friendly competition.

While all the activities are family friendly if the kids need something more child-focused or you just need some time alone they have a fantastic Professional Day Camp filled with experienced staff. The kids will love it and it will give you a moment of peace and quiet. Or extra time to go to the tea room at least.

If you really need to relax most of all, then you have to check out the spa. This is a full experience that will let you do exactly what you came to do. Take it easy.

Don’t forget to check out the night activities every night of chol hamoed like a special performance from professional stand-up comedian Elon Altman, winner of ‘New York’s Got Talent’ season 3.

In terms of religion, they will of course have minyanim and shiurim. There will be two scholars in residence, Rabbi Nachum Scheiner (who will also be the noted speaker) who is the Rosh Kollel of Beit Midrash Ohr Chaim in Lakewood, and Rabbi Ari Weber of Beit Rabban. For sedarim they have communal as well as private options available depending on what you and your family prefer to do.
