The Long Beach, your luxury hotel in Mauritius

A new luxury hotel in Mauritius, the Long Beach nestles on the edge of one of the Island’s longest, widest and most beautiful natural beaches. Contemporary and chic, the Long Beach has been built around the concept of “Italian life”. The lively central Square has an air of the Dolce Vita, the real heart of the hotel, surrounded by restaurants, bars and boutiques.

The modern architecture, high ceilings, pastel colours, luxurious gardens, natural forms and traditional Mauritian building materials come together perfectly and melt into the sublime natural décor of this little slice of heaven on the Island’s East Coast. The hotel has 255 rooms, harmoniously arranged in three semi-circles. Standard Sea-View rooms (60 sqm), Superior Beach Frontrooms (64 sqm) and Family room (86.4 sqm with 2 bedrooms)  Each room has a view of the Indian Ocean and each has the advantage of having an average of 109 square metres of beach space. Their contemporary design and refined furnishings are in perfect harmony with the apple green, coral red, white and ash grey hues of the décor.

The rooms provide comfort that goes beyond what you would expect of a five star hotel in Mauritius: King Size beds, telephone with a direct international line, free Wi-Fi internet connection, iPod dock, digital alarm clock, radio, electric safe, hair-dryer, independent air-conditioning and shaver socket (110-220 volts).

From 10am until 5pm, the beach service and a full range of drinks. A beach buggy patrols the beach, selling refreshments to guests who want to make the most of their lounger in the shade of a palm tree or thatched parasol.

Bombora Bar & Night Club

Adored by those who like to party of Mauritius, Bombora’s modern design and state-of-the-art equipment make it stand out from the crowd. Dance to the beat of the music in this venue dedicated to electronic music. The club has resident DJs but it also welcomes special guest star DJs.

 

Sea Spa: a unique Spa in Mauritius

Our beach is equipped with comfortable loungers where you can relax in the shade of the palm trees and thatched parasols. When you settle into one of the suspended daybeds, facing the turquoise lagoon, you will enjoy the heavenly landscape and the beach service team who will bring you refreshments should you wish.

This Mauritian resort brings you 3 magnificent pools

• The main pool: 1400 square metres of heated pool, next to the beach, with comfortable loungers, is ideal for families.

The sports centre is air-conditioned and spreads over a vast 216 square metres. It is fitted out with a comprehensive range of Cardio multimedia equipment, air resistance body-building machines as well as an extensive range of weights.

This Mauritian resort is particularly proud of its state-of-the-art equipment from brands such as Technogym and Powerplate, the use of which is free of charge. The services of a personal trainer are available for a fee.
Yoga, stretching and aerobics classes are available daily, both in and outdoors. All supplementary sessions are charged at a discounted price.

Angels Kids’ Club, from 4 to 11 years

An adventure-playground for your children in Mauritius, Angels Kids’ Club has a space of 113 square metres in the Sports Centre dedicated to fun for kids. Especially adapted equipment and fun and educational activities are on offer according to their age. Children can swim in the 33 square metre pool, play tennis, try wind surfing, take swimming lessons, go on nature excursions…

Angels Kids’ Club is open daily from 10 am to 5pm and from 7pm until 10pm.

Waves, for 12 to 17 year-olds

Also free, the teens’ club is a 148 square metre space ideally situated in the Sports Centre.

A special programme offers sporting activities, all kinds of entertainment and “adventure” trips and excursions.
Waves has its own disco with its very own DJ, a cyber café with video games, table football, pool and table tennis tables and pinball.

Privileged access to Ile aux Cerfs golf course

Le Touessrok Golf Course, one of the most beautiful courses in the world World-renowned and recognised as being one of the most beautiful golf courses in the world, the Le Touessrok Golf Course is ideally situated on the magnificent Ile aux Cerfs Island.

This 18-Hole Par 72 championship course was designed by famous golf Champion Bernhard Langer. The Ile aux Cerfs golf course gets the vote of professional as well as amateur players.

It has a high-level Golf Academy and high-tech equipment that allows players to take lessons with the aim of perfecting their game.

The Long Beach and Le Touessrok are sister hotels, they are both managed by the Sun Resorts Group and, naturally, guests at the Long Beach have free access to the Le Touessrok course.

A special shuttle service is available every day to take guests to the Ile aux Cerfs golf course and bring them back again. The shuttle bus will drop you off at the boarding pontoon where you will be whisked across the lagoon on a private boat to the mythical Ile aux Cerfs, ten minutes away.

Long Beach guests also have privileged access to the two championship golf courses at the five star Belle Mare Plage hotel, merely a few minutes’ walk from the Long Beach.

The Legend is an 18-Hole Par 72 course whereas the Links is an 18-Hole Par 71 course.
