With more than 200 pure and clear lakes, the quality is suitable for drinking. The water temperature is high - a paradise for bathing enthusiasts and water sports. The whole area is surrounded by mountains, with the highest peak in Austria, the Grossglockner, at its northwestern end and shared with the nearby ropes: the Salzburg region and Tyrol. In 120 peaks that rise to a height of over 3000 meters.
Carinthia offers its visitors a wide variety of sports and active recreation both in the lakes and in the mountains and has plenty of hiking, cycling and horse riding routes
The town of Flattach, our base, is located in the center of Carinthia and is a mountain-green resort town with many hotels and holiday apartments. Along the town there is a river with kayaking and rafting options, and at the end of the town there is an alcove point to the 3,000 meter high snow-capped Mulltal glacier.
The Sport Hotel is a cozy and well-kept hotel in an Austrian country atmosphere. The hotel has spacious rooms, a modern bar, a spa with a swimming pool with streams, a Finnish sauna, a hammam and gym, a tennis court, seating areas and a synagogue.

Klagenfurt - The capital of the region which serves both as the center of government and as the center of culture and business. The city lies beside the great and impressive Werther Lake.
Villach is the second largest city in the region, an ancient city with a rich past from the days of the Romans. In the center of the old town, the Drau River winds through picturesque old houses.
Millstatt - a lively town with a perpetual festive atmosphere, sitting on the lake, along which you stroll with hotels, restaurants, and small parks. Take a relaxing tour of one of the ferries that surround the lake.
Malta Road - the high waterfall road towards the Great Dam in Austria - Kalenbrine, this is a spectacular section of the road in Europe.
Salzburg, the second largest city in Austria, is a picturesque city with narrow alleyways, wide squares, colorful houses, castles, palaces, gardens and fountains. It lies between two high mountain ranges along which flows the Salzach River.
Hallstatt - The town that does not need Photoshop. One of the most beautiful spots in Austria as a whole. The small town of Halstatt is located in the most impressive setting you can expect.
Grosglockner - The highest mountain in Austria (3,797 meters), part of the Glockner Gruppe chain belonging to the Hohe Tauern ridge. The road that crosses the Glockner ridge is called Grossglocknr Hochalpenstrase, considered one of the most beautiful roads in the Alps.
Monkey Park Abenteuer Affenberg - The park is located near the city of Villach. In the park there are dozens of Japanese monkeys roaming freely in a large, fenced forest reserve.
Alpine slides: Sommerrodelbahn Verditz - A winding track of 1100 meters running under bridges and tunnels. Located in the center of the Karinthia region north of Villach.
The Krimmler Wasserfalle are considered the highest waterfalls in Europe and undoubtedly the most beautiful and impressive in the continent. The rapids, which are 380 meters high, fall in three stages. The falls are located at the western end of the Salzburg region near the Tyrol region.
Lichtenstein Gorge - A charming hiking trail in a canyon along a river and waterfall in the center of the Salzburg district near the town of St. Georg. Johann im Pongau. The mall is considered the most beautiful and deepest in the Alps. In some of the places along the path the canyon walls are so high and close to each other that you can barely see a piece of sky. The water is green and turquoise. As you walk you can hear the thunder of the falls and notice colorful arches.
Bled - Slovenia - The resort town is famous for its beautiful Lake Bled and the famous Bled Castle. You can take a boat ride along the promenade and enjoy the beauty of the town.
