We are pleased to welcome you above the sea of fog to sunny Arosa and Lenzerheide, the island of snow, sports and fun.

 

The newly renovated Levin`s Glatt Kosher Hotel METROPOL is situated in a secluded spot in the very center of Arosa and from your nice and comfortable room you can see one of the most beautiful Swiss vistas of mountain scenery and overlook the picturesque lake just below the hotel. Enjoy a panorama of the fascinating fairy tale world made of rock and ice bewitched with sun and snow, as well as a breathtaking view of the valley and enthralling outlooks on the surrounding ice giants.

All rooms have been now renovated:  new beds, flooring, closets, fantastic headboards and much more - to ensure your most pleasant stay. You will be served our traditional Swiss Breakfast Buffet at the Panoramic Dining room overlooking the Arosa Alps and waterfalls. For supper you will be served our hot Meaty Gourmet meals directly to your table. Enjoy  our 24-hr coffee and tea corner.

Everything is made in House: we even have our own bakery that is preparing fresh bread daily and challot for shabbat.

Skiing school for everyone

 

Ski-kindergardens facilitate a great and fun start into the snow sports world.

 

While the smaller kids have fun at the kids kindergarden with funny characters and magic carpets at the Arosa JUNIOR Club, the bigger kids ride the pistes with our competent ski instructors. When booking a day lesson, lunch supervision incl. food will be charged separately.

Nordic Walking and Hiking

Whether you prefer rambling, hiking or Nordic walking, you can discover Arosa by foot on our beautifully prepared hiking trails. They will lead you through the busy winter sports area or into hidden side valleys.

 

Arosa has over 60 kilometers of prepared strolling and winter hiking trails that lead right through the lively winter sports area, to all the mountain huts and through snow-covered forests.

EXPERIENCE THE SNOWY WINTER SCENERY OF AROSA

Cross-Country Skiing

 

Experience the snowy winter scenery of Arosa by skiing along our various cross-country trails. If you prefer the quieter and gentler version we suggest a hike with snow shoes.

 

Professionals and amateurs can enjoy the slopes alike and get in the right shape for the winter season. The Slopes are open daily, and on the weekends there will be a cross-county-shuttle bus.

 

ENJOY WITH YOUR FAMILY AMAZING SLEDGING FUN

Sledging

 

Arosa offers a total of 4.5 kilometers of sledge trails, including the popular run from Prätschli to the village, which is illuminated after dark. The free bus brings you right back to the start.

 

A very special sledging experience is Night Sledging. Every Tuesday and Thursday evening.

 

ENJOY REAL WINTER CARRIAGE RIDE

 

Horse drawn sleigh rides in Arosa

 

Fantastic horse-drawn carriage rides through the breathtaking landscape.

 

Horse drawn sleighs are busy all over Arosa, on-mountain as well as off-mountain and the drivers, horses and sleighs congregate like taxis by the station.

VENTURE ONTO THE ICE

 

Public ice skating

 

From mid-November to mid-April you can venture onto the ice at our outdoor rink at Obersee lake or in the ice sports hall. Professional skating instructors are available upon request.

 

Ice skates rental costs CHF 6.00 per person. Please check the ice practice timings at the ice sports hall and the Arosa Tourism Office. Depending on training camps the schedule may vary.
