About Pelham Manor

Pelham Manor is a village located in Westchester County, New York, United States. Pelham Manor is the birthplace of Olympic gold medalist Tell Berna, as well as artist and illustrator James Montgomery Flagg. The Bolton Priory, Edgewood House, and Pelhamdale are listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Pelham Manor is only 25 minutes from Manhattan by car, and so Pelham is an ideal commuter location.

The Pelham Jewish Center is a synagogue located to the North West of the village on the border with Mount Vernon, this is an area where there is a Jewish population within Pelham Manor. Originally Jewish families moved to this area in the 1950s and by 1956 the community had started to build the synagogue. The synagogue was refurbished and expanded in 2005 it attracts members from all round the area.
