About West Hartford

West Hartford is a town located in Hartford County, Connecticut, United States. Located 5 miles west of downtown Hartford, is an upmarket inner-ring suburb located in Greater Hartford. The population was 63,168 at the 2010 census. The town was incorporated in 1854. There are several parks in West Hartford including the world-renown Elizabeth Park rose gardens. There are also museums, sites of historical interest and good shopping streets.
